Tour the world with Google!

(Lady Liberty as seen from Google Maps)

Tonight I ran into a cool little site. It may not be new to you, but it is to me... It's the Sightseeing with Google Satellite Maps. You can check it out here.

With it you can see places like Area 51, Bill Gate's House, The Great Wall of China and the Hollywood Sign. Pretty good fun!

Glad you liked it Ms. Ellie.

You know what I thought would be a cool (and nerdy) website... Have people submit geographic anomalies they find with Google Earth and have people CLOSE to it take pictures and submit them to solve the mystery.

If you look around the maps enough you'll see some stuff that will make you say "Hrm... I wonder what that is." Wouldn't it be cool to actually FIND OUT?

Well my idea exists... FIRST of all I say, if you like the link I posted you will LOVE GOOGLE EARTH! Download it NOW!

Look in the lower lefthand corner for "Layers" and enable "Keyhole Community BBS". People help each other figure out the mystery spots. VERY COOL!
